We wrote a feature-length article on the prevalence of empty or unavailable supportive housing units in B.C. One of our multimedia portions was an interview with someone living in a Downtown Eastside SRO, to express the importance of housing.
This is an episode of For the Record on BCIT News, our interview segment. I spoke with a youth community leader from Surrey who was concerned about the erupting extortion-related violence in his neighbourhood.
